PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device for a vehicle, including a stopper mechanism having a light load on an arm part connected to a pedal stepping part in an operation limit position. SOLUTION: In the case that a stopper 20 abutted on a locked part 34 that is the rear side of a stepping face 30 of the pedal stepping part 12 to lock the locked part 20 so as to restrict the operation limit position of a pedal 16 is provided, the locked part 34 and a locking part 36 of the stopper 20 are engaged in engagement points actually separated from each other. They can be locked in an engagement face 60 that is a set of a numerous number of the engagement points. For example, when the stepping face 30 is formed as a partial cylindrical face with a center line P as the center, the locked part 34 and the locking part 36 are configured such that a partial cylindrical face of a smaller diameter than the partial cylindrical face with the center line P as the center becomes the engagement face 60 in the operation limit position. As long as stepping force is applied perpendicularly to the stepping face 30, tilting and shifting of the pedal stepping part 12 are prevented to suppress the load on the arm part.
