<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for an instant food container which is used for the instant food container with hot water dripping function in which half-cutting process or the like is not required for the cutoff line to cut off a part of the lid for the instant food container by forming a hot water dripping port not by cutting off a part of the lid for the instant food container but by peeling the lid to form a hot water dripping port. <P>SOLUTION: The lid for the instant food container with hot water dripping function has a substantially same outer shape as that of a container body to store instant food or the like having a flange on a substantially rectangular opening part, and is heat-sealed with the easily-peelable flange, and a hot water dripping port is formed by peeling one corner. A peel-stop cut is formed at each predetermined position of a portion with the lid heat-sealed to two flanges to form one corner.
