PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide culture facilities suitable for the culture of shellfish such as rock oyster, enabling the hoisting work without difficulty and giving cultured product at a low cost. SOLUTION: The culture facilities composed of a gravity fish reef and a floating culture part above the reef are submerged in an outer sea of the coastal area to widen the utilizing area of the installing sea area. Culture facilities having improved effectiveness are attained by the synergistic effect of a migratory fish attracting effect combined with the attracting effect of the gravity fish reef and the characteristic culture effect of the floating culture part. The injury of adhesive life can be decreased by placing the floating culture part at the middle layer of the sea to enable stable supply of phytoplankton useful as a feed for the marine product to be raised such as rock oyster and the hoisting work for recovery is relatively easy. Since the floating culture part is placed at the middle layer, the sea surface is effectively utilizable without hindering the cruising of fishing boat, working ship, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
