PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle navigation apparatus and a program therefor capable of guiding a route to meet the preference of a user. SOLUTION: The vehicle navigation apparatus comprises a registration means (11) to register a place of departure, a destination and a traveling route in a related manner together with time information, a determination means (12) to determine whether or not the same place of departure and the same destination as those in the registered route are input, a route searching means (13) which reads information of the registered route at the time closest to the time of utilization out of the registered routes when it is determined by the determination means that the same place of departure and the same destination are input, and searches the route by lowering the weighting in searching the route, and a control means (4) to guide the route searched by the route searching means.
