ROTOR FOR ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in positioning of a magnet in a rotor for a rotating electric machine where a magnet is bonded to the periphery of the rotor core. SOLUTION: Projections to serve as the keys for positioning of permanent magnets 30 are made only in steel plates which are arranged severally in the vicinity of one end and in the vicinity of the other end in a stacking direction out of a series of steel plates which constitute a rotor core 20, and the magnets 30 are positioned by being abutted against the projections 20a made at the periphery in the vicinity of one end and the vicinity of the other end in an axial direction of the rotor core constituted of the stacked steel plates.
