PURPOSE: A library method for the duplex control of a takeover synchronization method is provided to make a standby system continue a service even if a fault is generated in an active system by making the system in a duplicated or triple structure. CONSTITUTION: If a takeover request is generated, a signal is transmitted to a duplex task by using a semaphore. If the signal of the semaphore is received, the duplex task sends a ready signal for synchronizing a memory to a standby side. If the ready signal for synchronizing the memory is received from the active side, only the duplex task is executed by terminating a schedule. If the takeover of the active side is completely ready, the memory is copied. If the memory is completely copied, the standby side is changed to the active side and restarts a service task stopped during operation.
