<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine and a method for producing a net structure designed to eliminate the overcooling and insufficient cooling of the net structure with cooling water through uniformly spreading the cooling water over the whole chute surface, deeply narrow the width of a melt continuous wire assembly, and eliminate the debonding of the fused parts of the net structure, and to provide such a lightweight net structure with no surface unevennesses or the like, prevented from mutual wire debonding and maintaining its cushionability and mechanical strength even in long-term use, and reduced in material cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the net structure comprises the following process: On feeding cooling water C into a tank 53a, the cooling water C is fed via a relevant discharge port 53b in between a water-permeable sheet 55 and a tilt plate 51a to form a lower cooling water layer L and an upper cooling water layer M on the water-permeable sheet 55 as a result of permeation of the cooling water C onto the upper surface of the sheet 55, and the upper cooling water layer M serves to catch the wire assembly 3 to form loops and subject adjoining continuous wires to mutual contact interlacing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
