PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of a shelf or shelf bracket even when unexpectedly making contact therewith from below, in a mounting structure of the shelf by which a shelf member is arbitrarily mounted. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the shelf member is composed of: panel mounting base materials 2A, each of which is formed with a slit-shaped insertion groove 2e having an inside first locking portion 2f between upper and lower panel holding portions along the longitudinal direction of the member, and which are horizontally fixed at multiple stages spaced vertically to a given wall surface W; panel materials 3, each of which is set by being held by the upper and lower panel mounting base materials 2A at the upper and lower edges; shelf brackets 4, each of which includes a second locking portion 4a locked to the first locking portion 2f on one end side to be mounted on an arbitrary position of the panel mounting base material 2A; shelf members 5A, each of which is mounted on a mount surface 4c of the shelf bracket 4; and stopper members 9A, each of which is fitted into the insertion groove 2e.
