<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in shock resulting from a speed change via a transmission, on the input side of which a motor is connected. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a controller for the transmission, on the input side of which the motor supplied with power from a storage battery means is connected. The controller has a charge control means (step S2) for controlling a charge volume for the storage battery means in correlation with a speed change via the transmission.
