PURPOSE: A method for processing service recognition between home network equipments is provided to enable a home network control equipment to accurately and stably recognize a service provided from a home network controlled equipment. CONSTITUTION: A home network control equipment transmits an equipment service recognition request message to a home network controlled equipment(S40). The home network control equipment receives an equipment service recognition response message from the home network controlled equipment(S41). The home network control equipment parses the equipment service recognition response message according to a PDU(Protocol Data Unit)(S42). The home network control equipment judges whether a completion report identifier is recorded in the equipment service recognition response message(S43). If so, the home network control equipment recognizes that the receipt of the equipment service recognition response message is completed(S44). The home network control equipment releases a receiving standby state to the equipment service recognition response message(S45). If not, the home network control equipment maintains the receiving standby state to the equipment service recognition response message(S46). The home network control equipment transmits a message for requesting retransmission of the equipment service recognition response message to the home network controlled equipment(S47).
