PURPOSE: Provided is a sewing machine which simultaneously suspends a presser foot and a roller for a sewing material transporter, and enables the sole suspending operation of the roller, thereby enhancing the work efficiency and the productivity. CONSTITUTION: The sewing machine comprises: a motor(101) for generating rotating power; a worm(102) combined with the motor to rotate and counter-rotate upon receipt of the rotating power from the motor; a worm gear(103) coupled with the worm to make speed-reduction rotation or counter-rotation; an operation shaft(104) coupled to the worm gear to output the rotating power of the worm gear to the outside; a rotation lever(111) combined with the operation shaft to convert the rotating power of the operation shaft into a linear movement; a roller suspension for suspending a roller(119) with the rotation of the rotation lever; and a presser foot suspension for suspending a presser foot(130) together with the roller upon receipt of the rotating power of the rotation lever variably.
