PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe and highly effective antitussive for settling problems that antitussives for cold, corresponding to cough symptoms, utilize mainly a narcotic medicine or a central respiratory depressant and the adverse effects of these medicines such as drug dependency due to the repeated use are caused. SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition is obtained by compounding the following (a) to (c), wherein (a) is at least one selected from the group consisting of codeine, dihydrocodeine and their salts, (b) is at least one selected from the group consisting of ibuprofen and acetaminophen and (c) is ketotifen or its salt.
