PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient logging not to make a data amount so huge as to effect various kinds of operations such as storage, while surely storing the required log information. SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 701 is equipped with a SOAP for receiving a transmission request of log information from an administrative server 720 connected to a network by a communication protocol SOAP utilizing XML, and for analyzing the received transmission request, and a SOAP proxy for transmitting the analyzed result from SOAP to the administrative server 720.
