PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a service life of an outdoor air intaking/treating device of a building. SOLUTION: The outdoor air intaking/treating device of a building 1 comprises a snow preventive hood 2, a bird screen 14, a heating coil 10, a pre-filter 15, a particle filter 11 and a cooling coil 12. Outdoor air flows as illustrated by arrows A, B, C and D and goes to an arrow E by an air blower 7. In seasons other than a period of snow fall and a severely cold winter, the pre-filter 15 is positioned at an entry 9 of the snow preventive hood 2 to filter dust, salt content, sand and the like existing in outdoor air. In period of snow fall and the severely cold winter, the pre-filter 15 stands as shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line to avoid clogging of the pre-filter 15 due to freezing to prevent intake of outdoor air from becoming difficult.
