PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein it is very troublesome to turn blocks to be used for construction of a side ditch 180 degrees when installing them because they are arranged upside-down in the condition in which they are unloaded from a truck. SOLUTION: This lifting tool is structured to lift a long size concrete block for side ditch having a U-shape cross section by holding both longitudinal directional ends thereof and for turning the block 180 degrees around the center axis in the longitudinal direction as a rotary shaft. This lifting tool is formed of a long-size horizontal body, arm bodies respectively suspended from both ends of the long-size horizontal body, and block holders provided near a lower end of the arm bodies. The arm body is fixed to the long size horizontal body freely to turn, and the block holders are fixed to the arm bodies freely to turn. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
