<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is further reduced in power consumption during standby while ensuring a good usability of the device for the user or repair people. <P>SOLUTION: According to the image forming device, output Vr from a power source connection section 116 is supplied as a power source to sensors 50, 51, 60 which need no power supply during the standby of the device, and supply voltage Vc is supplied to sensors 70, 71 which need power supply during the standby of the device. Thus by setting output Out 1 to an L level during the standby of the device, power supply to the sensors 50, 51, 60 is interrupted, and power supply only to the sensors 70, 71 is continuously kept, whereby further reduction in power consumption is achieved during the standby of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
