摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recording liquid being not problematic in nozzle plugging and improved in water-resistance, light resistance, storage stability and delivery stability by dispersing surface-oxidized carbon black, a water- dispersible resin and a surfactant in an aqueous medium. SOLUTION: A surface-oxidized carbon black pigment of 0.5-10 pts.wt. having a mean particle diameter of 20-300nm (as measured with a laser beam scattering particle size distribution meter) and containing at most 3wt.%, based on the particle particles, 500nm or larger coarse particles, 0.05-5 pts.wt. water- dispersible resin having a means particle diameter of 20-300nm (as measured with a laser beam scattering particle size distrubution meter) and containing at most 3wt.%, based on the total resin particles, 500nm or larger coarse particles and at most 1 pt.wt. (the total is 100 pts.wt.) anionic, cationic, nonionic or polymeric surfactant are dispersed in 49-95wt.% water to obtain an ink jet recording liquid having a viscosity of 0.8-15cP, a surface tension of 25-60dyn/ cm and a pH of 4-12.
