The insulator for an electrically driven machine serving for tightening/loosening screwed connections comprises at least one insulator body (15) which is made of an insulating material, and is located between a socket (11) for a machine element and a plug (12) for a screwing tool element. An Independent claim is also included for a screwing tool with the proposed insulator.
