FIELD: biotechnology, medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for biochemical assay of antioxidant function of lymphocytes. Serum free medium for culturing lymphocytes comprises by the first variant glucose, pantothenic acid, choline, inorganic ions, cumene hydroperoxide, mitogen, buffer and deionized water. The second variant of serum free medium doesn't comprise pantothenic acid and choline. Media are used in a method for assay of anomalous quantitative requirements for nutrient substances, for identifying nutrient factors or biochemical mediators and for biochemical determination of antioxidant function of lymphocytes also.
