REMOTE BUILDING MONITORING SYSTEM AND MONITORING METHOD

A remote building monitoring system which can be introduced easily at a low cost. Upon detecting a trouble in the building facility, an remote building management system (122) delivers an alarm signal output signal to a graphic panel. An alarm signal is also delivered (1) to the remote building monitoring system (102) through a terminal block (104). Based on a received alarm signal, the remote building management system (102) prepares the text data of an e-mail describing the facility name and the degree of criticalness of trouble. With reference to previously registered information concerning the inspector, the remote building management system (102) writes an e-mail of content different from inspector to inspector and delivers it (2) to the mail address of the inspector. The e-mail is delivered to a portable telephone (116) through the Internet (114). Upon receiving the alarm mail, a person in charge can confirm the content of alarm.
