<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device capable of making even a person whose desires to travel is just aroused simply to acquire travel information at ease in real time without feeling troublesomeness, keeping the desire to travel and securing the number of travelers further. <P>SOLUTION: The information providing device 10 for providing the travel information through a network for TV terminal equipment having a bidirectional communication means is provided with a storage means for storing broadcasting date and a time of a travel program and travel cost information and viewer information relating to the travel program, computes a travel cost on the basis of a travel condition inputted from the TV terminal equipment 40 and the viewer information and the travel cost information stored in the storage means and displays the travel cost at the TV terminal equipment.
