PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly cope with a frequency band of low frequencies and its variation. SOLUTION: In a soundproof panel 21 for earth and sand separators, a resonator 23 in an implemented form of this invention is fitted into a rectangular frame 22. In the resonator 23, many hollow tubes 24 which have sound absorbing holes 25 formed in the vicinity of upper ends and have a prescribed capacity are arranged in parallel, and a liquid injection/discharge tube 26 through which water being a liquid is injected to and discharged from the hollow tubes 24 is connected to the hollow tubes. A water gauge 31 for measuring the water level in the hollow tubes 24 is connected to the liquid injection/discharge tube 26, and a sound pressure gauge 30 which measures sounds produced from an earth and sand separator 10, especially, sound pressures of low frequencies is installed in the front surface of the soundproof panel 21.
