PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt attaching-detaching tool for preventing the hand of a user from being caught between a belt and a pulley. SOLUTION: This belt attaching-detaching tool 2a is used when attaching-detaching a belt of a rotary apparatus, and has a bar-shaped member 30, a hook part 32 formed on one end of the bar-shaped member 30 in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the bar-shaped member 30 and chamfering the tip 40 and a bar-shaped projection part 34 slidably installed on the bar-shaped member 30 in the vicinity of the hook part 32 and parallel to the hook part 32.
