摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loss in the output stage, and to realize small power consumption not only in a data driver but also in the whole of a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: When a set signal becomes "H", a voltage Vgs(pre) is held in an input capacitor Cin so that a nMOS transistor 20 holds the source voltage Vin by the drain current I1. When the set signal becomes "L" and a write signal becomes "H", then the nMOS transistor 20 performs a source follower operation while charging a load capacitor Cload and becomes stable. Both of the set signal and the write signal become "L" at the timing of terminating a writing process into the load capacitor. A write voltage is held in the load capacitor hereinafter.
