PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear by which a user easily and stably performs change into a posture for standing on tiptoe or on heel, diet effect and shape-up effect are efficiently obtained, sense of balance is effectively developed, bow-legs are corrected, and hallux valgus is prevented. SOLUTION: Sandal thongs 5 are attached onto the upper surface of a footwear base 2 which is formed to have a tapered cross section with a narrowed tip end from a little toe fitting part to a large toe fitting part, and formed corresponding to the shape of a sole. A belt shape cover part 6 is attached so as to cover the front upper surface of the thongs 5. A protruded and semicylindrical projection 3a is disposed on the lower surface of the footwear base 2 over a part from one side edge to the other side edge of the footwear base 2.
