FIELD: construction engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making of pipelines of plastic, particularly, polyethylene pipes. Proposed permanent joint consists of plastic pipe enclosing by its working part the working part of steel pipe, and sleeve installed in zone of pipe connection. Steel pipe is provided with ring projection against which reinforced plastic pipe thrusts. Sleeve is rigidly connected with ring projection, and split bushing is installed between sleeve and reinforced plastic pipe. In process of making the pipeline joint reinforced plastic pipe is pulled onto steel pipe to thrust against ring projection. Split bushing is fitted onto which sleeve is interference fitted which is provided by taper of mated surfaces of sleeve and split bushing. Sleeve is fastened on ring projection by spot welding. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of pipe joints. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
