PURPOSE: A reactor for BOD measuring system is provided, thereby inhibiting the formation of a whirlpool, so that BOD can be rapidly and accurately measured. CONSTITUTION: The reactor for BOD measuring system comprises the part of: a water introducing portion(11) which is a cylinder having an opened upper part; a plurality of cylindrical reaction portions(12) which are combined with the water introducing portion(11) with nut and screw, are accumulated together, and have nylon net supporting multipore microorganism immobilizing beads in its lower part; and a cylindrical oxygen sensor installing portion(13) which contains an oxygen sensor, and is combined with the highest reaction portions(12) with nut and screw, wherein the cylindrical oxygen sensor installing portion(13) has a first diameter reducing portion(13b) of which diameter is reduced at an upper direction in its lower part.
