PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overrelease by functioning the overflow prevention of the overrelease immediately when a hose is removed with abrupt pressure reduction on the downstream side or fixed outer force or greater applied thereto. SOLUTION: This hose fitting comprises a gas supply means consisting of a joint body 40 for receiving and locking a plug 43 provided at the end of a high pressure hose 50 to hold the high pressure hose 50, a mounting handle nut 42 for fixing the joint body 40 to a container valve, a closing valve packing 45 arranged at a chamber in a gas passage for the joint body 40 and a spring 46 supporting the closing valve packing 45 in the chamber at a neutral position to form a passage, adapted to be compressed during abnormal pressure reduction on the downstream side for putting the closing valve packing 45 in engagement with a valve seat of the joint body 40 to shut off a flow path. The gas supply means is locked via a click mechanism so that the plug 43 is joined to the joint body 40 in a gas sealed condition and released by the click mechanism when excessive tensile force is applied to the high pressure hose 50.
