<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten starting time by eliminating a delay caused by displaying a key input waiting screen for displaying a configuration screen. <P>SOLUTION: When terminating a previous information processing operation, it is chosen whether or not to display a key input waiting screen for displaying a configuration screen when starting an information processor. This shortens starting time in the event that the waiting screen is not displayed with the configuration screen kept displayable as the need arises.
