PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stack an article without being damaged even when the following article is hard to slide on the stacked article due to the uneven top surface. SOLUTION: The palletizer throws the article from a conveyor to stack it while lowering a pallet of the palletizer. A retractable slide plate is provided under the throw-in conveyor to stack the article having the uneven top surface to support the article by throwing it and advancing it at the same time.
