PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supportable baglike container which can be easily manufactured using a conventional bag-making machine, is inexpensive in manufacturing cost, is easy to change in size, and is excellent in self-supportability, shape retention, protection of contents and design effects of print or the like. SOLUTION: A barrel of the container is formed by heat-sealing both side rims of front and rear wall laminates 50. A bottom is formed in a gusset form by folding inward and inserting a bottom laminate 60 between lower parts of the front and rear wall laminates and heat-sealing. The front and rear wall laminates are made of a laminate including at least an outer transparent resin layer, a printed layer of patterns or the like and cardboard of a metric weighing capacity of 70 to 280 g/m<SP>2</SP>of an intermediate layer, and the innermost thermally adhesive resin layer. The bottom laminate is made of a laminate including at least an outer base film layer and the innermost thermally adhesive resin layer, to constitute the self-supportable baglike container.
