<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a product with a titanium oxide film fitted thereon by which the increase of a refractive index and stabilization can be made compatible at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a product with a titanium oxide film fitted thereon is provided with: a stage where an organic titanium compound is dissolved into an organic solvent; a stage where the surface of a base material is coated with the resultant organic titanium compound solution, and drying is performed at a room temperature till it becomes a partially dry state; and a stage where the coated face after the drying is irradiated with ultraviolet rays at an illumination of 200 to 1,500 mW/cm<SP>2</SP>so that the quantity of rays lies in the range of 500 to 9,000 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>to produce a titanium oxide film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
