PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan-type insect proof device for preventing a space for clothes, or the like, stored in a clothes-storing space from being reduced by preventing the device from using a large space when using the fan-type insect proof device. SOLUTION: This fan-type insect proof device has a storing container body 1 in a flat hollow hexahedron shape, a sucking opening 4 opened at the neighbor of one side in a wide side face part in the storing container body 1, a discharging opening 5 opened at the neighbor of the other side in a narrow side face part, at the opposite side to the sucking opening 4, a chemical-holding body 6 at the neighbor of one side of the storing container body 1 and having one side face arranged so as to face to the sucking opening 4, a blower 9 installed in the neighbor of the other side of the storing container body 1 and having the discharge side facing to the discharging opening 5, and a duct 14 installed in the storing container body 1 and communicating the other side face of the chemical-holding body 6 with the sucking side of the blower 9.
