PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change the output voltage of a direct current, constant-voltage power circuit wherein a series power circuit is connected to the back of a switching power circuit, without increasing power loss or impairing the stability of output voltage. SOLUTION: A certain voltage value is added to a value obtained by multiplying the output voltage of the series power circuit by the voltage feedback ratio of the switching power circuit, and the value thus obtained is used as the reference voltage for the switching power circuit. The certain voltage value is so set that the voltage applied to the output transistor of the series power circuit is the minimum voltage at which stable output voltage is obtained.
