<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transport waste powder containing waste toner and waste developer. <P>SOLUTION: On the upper side of a primary collection container 110a which has a coil auger 120 arranged at its lower part, openings 111 to 115 for accepting waste toner and openings 116 to 119 for accepting a waste developer are alternately formed in the transport direction of waste powder (containing the waste toner and waste developer) by the coil auger 120 to increase the fluidity of the waste powder. Further, the openings 111 to 115 for accepting the waste toner are formed above the openings 116 to 119 for accepting the waste developer to improve the dispersibility of the waste toner, thereby deterring the aggregation of the waste toner in the waste powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
