The present invention refers to a hydraulic-mechanical device for progressive hydrokinetic conversion to be used both in mobile and stationary drive units in order to provide significant increase of the system overall yielding, thus resulting a better performance without higher fuel consumption. The progressive hydrokinetic energy converter comprises (i) a main system comprising a power inlet shaft (301) provided with a straight teeth section (303), a power outlet shaft (302) provided with a helicoidal teeth section (304), and an external rotating sleeve (107); the power outlet shaft prolongs to a section of a hydraulic turbine (312); (ii) an identical secondary juxtaposed and coupled to said main system (300'); (iii) a re-circulating spheres assembly (308) provided between each one of said shafts and said sleeve; (iv) a non-rotating hydraulic piston (313) externally coupled to said sleeve and contained inside a shell (316) separated between two chambers (317, 318); (v) a flywheel (208) for kinetic energy storage; and (vi) a hydraulic and lubricating circuit (504), wherein a drive pulley (102) interconnects the housing (101) of said hydraulic turbine (100) to said flywheel by means of an adequate transmission system. |
