<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which processes dedicated data or non dedicated data from an image processing data output apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: At a printer 103 for this image processing system, image processing data received from a STB 102 via an I/F part 105 are decided by a data-deciding part 106 whether image processing of the data for image processing can be performed by a printer 103. When the data is decided that the image processing of the data can be performed, the data for image processing are transmitted to a printing processing part 108; while when the data is decided that the image processing of the data cannot be performed, the data for image processing is transmitted to a transmitting processing part 109 and is transmitted to the PC 104 via an I/F part 110 by the transmitting processing part 109. The PC 104 processes the received data for image processing and transmits the data to an I/F part 110 of the printer 103.
