PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an image reading face, and also a space for arranging an image reading sensor, etc., concerning equipment such as a mobile phone including a reading device for reading a fingerprint, etc. SOLUTION: A transparent and cylindrical image reading face forming body 7 is arranged so as to be rotatable in an equipment case 1 at the part of an opening 2 disposed on the front surface of the equipment case 1. A prescribed line shape area on the outer peripheral surface of the image reading face forming body 7 projected to the outer part of the equipment case 1 is defined as the image reading face 9 with which a finger 8 is brought into contact, and to which the fingerprint image light of the contact part is made incident.
