<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg guard improved in energy absorption, and having a coating cover piece preventing breakage of its surface, at the surface of which desired shapes/patterns can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: The leg guard is provided with a coating cover piece 14 which coats a connection pad part 35 connecting a leg part 21 to a knee part 22.
