<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor for lubricating and cooling a shaft seal device without leaking a refrigerant even under a poor lubricating condition. <P>SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with the shaft seal device 9 for preventing fluid leakage by slidingly contacting with a driving shaft 6 by being housed in a front housing 5, a crankcase 12 for housing a compression mechanism part, at least one communicating passage 16 arranged between shaft seal device chambers 10 partitioned and formed by the front housing 5, a rotor 7, the driving shaft 6 and the shaft seal device 9 and a boosting mechanism 7a for boosting pressure of the shaft seal device chambers 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
