<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display device which adjusts chromaticity in a reflection part without varying the chromaticity in a transmission part thereby keeping a display quality at a good level in . <P>SOLUTION: In the transflective liquid crystal display device 10 provided with a first substrate with a reflection electrode 16 and a transmission electrode 14 on its surface, a second substrate with color filter layers 12R, 12G, 12B on its surface opposite to the first substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second substrates, openings 32R, 32G, 32B are disposed on respective parts of the color filter layers 12R, 12G, 12B opposite to the reflection electrode 16 and color filter layers 32RB, 32GB with other colors are partially disposed on the openings of the color filter layers of some colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
