<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly operable coordinate input device for simplifying coordinate input by remote operation with a pen. <P>SOLUTION: A position instructing means is provided with a switch means which can be switched to a plurality of stages according to pressure, and operation processing is changed for each stage, and the output form of coordinates is changed at a detection side.
