PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator in which a stable vibration characteristic can be secured even in a long use state with a high output. SOLUTION: In a bolting Langevin-type vibrator 17, a plurality of piezoelectric elements 63 are arranged in series. The vibrator is fastened with a bolt 66 in a state that the piezoelectric elements 63 are inserted between a backing plate 61 and a front plate 62 from both ends, and a metal bonding member 64 such as aluminum having a larger coefficient of thermal expansion and higher tensile strength larger and higher than the ceramic of a material of the piezoelectric element 63 is installed in an intermediate position equivalent to the node of a standing wave. Thus, a thermal expansion difference between the piezoelectric element 63 and the bolt 66 can be offset, and the tensile strength of a member arranged in a position whose stress level is the highest can be improved, and the stable vibration characteristic can be secured in the long use state with a high output.
