PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to control an input buffer so that an external signal is transferred into the semiconductor device after all input signals are stabilized. CONSTITUTION: A number of normal input buffers(120,130,140,150,160) buffer a number of external signals and then transfer them into a semiconductor device. A clock enable buffer(100) compares a clock enable command with a reference signal and then receives it and then outputs it as a clock enable signal. A power up mode input buffer(400) is enabled by a power up signal, and outputs an initial stabilization signal in response to an enable time of the clock enable command, and is disabled by responding to a feedback of the initial stabilization signal. And an input buffer enable signal generation part(300) generates an input buffer enable signal enabling the normal input buffers by receiving the clock enable signal.
