PURPOSE: A method for imposing a transportation charge of a mobile communication terminal is provided to perform an authentication process between a traffic card and a subscriber/wide area subscriber identity module, so that a user can insert the subscriber/wide area subscriber identity module into other terminal to use as the traffic card, thereby imposing a transportation fare on the module. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects to use a traffic card through a user interface, a mobile communication terminal transmits an ID of a subscriber/wideband subscriber identity module and an ID of the traffic card to a provider server(S21,S22). The provider server receives the two IDs, authenticates usage of the traffic card, and transmits a traffic card ID in accordance with the user of the subscriber/wideband subscriber identity module(S23). The mobile communication terminal stores the traffic card ID in the traffic card, and activates a traffic card function(S24,S25).
