PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring device for stirring a fluid efficiently and uniformly. SOLUTION: This stirring device is equipped with two arm members 4a and 4b the rotating shafts of which are parallel to each other, two shaft members 5a and 5b attached upright to the one side ends of the arm members 4a and 4b, respectively in the same direction, a stirring blade 6 mounted between the shaft members 5a and 5b and drive motors 2a and 2b for rotating the arm members 4a and 4b, respectively. When the arm members 4a and 4b rotate horizontally in the opposite directions, one side of the stirring blade 6 rotates forward at a larger rotating angle so as to push the fluid forward, while the other side of the stirring blade 6 rotates backward at a smaller rotating angle so as to evade the resistance of the fluid.
