LOW MELTING GLASS GRANULE, LOW MELTING GLASS TABLET, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low melting glass granules in which a binder not causing degeneration or foaming in glass is used, a low melting glass tablet, and a method for manufacturing them. SOLUTION: The low melting glass granules are each composed of a low melting glass powder having a glass transition point of≤370°C and the binder, and characterized in that the decomposition completing temperature of the binder is not higher than the glass transition point of the low melting glass powder. The low melting glass granules are manufactured by mixing the low melting glass powder and the binder, and then granulating the resulting mixture. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
