SLIDE UNIT WITH MOUNTING DIMENSION AUTOMATIC ADJUSTING FUNCTION, AND BEARING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a mounting dimension between a slide upper face and a guide rail lower face in a slide unit wherein a slide is movably mounted on a guide rail. SOLUTION: The slide is moved on the guide rail in the guide direction orthogonal to the load direction acting on the upper face. The slide is divided into a base slide and a lifting slide at its slide contact face inclined to the sliding direction, and the lifting slide is moved in the load direction by the relative movement in the guide direction of both slides. The lifting slide is fixed to one of a support and a moving body, and the guide rail is fixed to the other. The lifting slide is relatively moved in the guide direction to the base slide by an elastic member in the direction to increase the mounting dimension between the lifting slide upper face and the guide rail lower face. Whereby the guide rail, the base slide and the lifting slide are kept into contact with each other by repulsive force of the elastic member to be held between the support and the moving body by desired pressing force.
