PURPOSE:To reduce running cost because the disposable part is only thin pipe, to become large cooling capacity of devidable metallic block and to prevent leakage of molten metal by inserting the refractory-made thin pipe into the metal-made dividable back-up material. CONSTITUTION:The thin refractory-made pipe 4 can be easily produced by extrusion forming, etc., and Al2O3, etc., can be used as raw material. Further, as metal-made dividable back-up material 6, for example, one set of metal-made blocks 6a, 6b forming recessed groove for holding the pipe on the dividing plane can be recommended. Quality of this block material 6 applies cast iron as the same quality of a bottom plate having excellent strength and durability. Further, by forming the outer dimension of the back-up material 6 as the similar dimension of runner groove 2 in an existing bottom plate, it can be economically used, because it can be applied in the bottom plate as usual. By constituting the runner in the bottom plate for bottom pouring ingot making as such a way, the disposable part is only the thin pipe and this weight can be reduced and cooling capacity is increased.
