PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor with highly improved heat resistance in a high temperature electrolyte and the long life in use of high temperature, by using a separator containing fiber made of a partial aromatic polyamide resin with little thermal degradation in electrolyte. SOLUTION: A separator containing a fiber made of a partial aromatic polyamide resin is used as a separator of an electrolytic capacitor, and a non-water based electrolyte is used as an electrolyte. The fiber of the partial aromatic plyamide resin is contained at least 30 wt% or larger. As the fiber of the partial aromatic polyamide resin, a fiber comprising a polyamide resin synthesized from a dicarboxylic acid component, in which a ≥60 mol% dicarboxylic acid component is an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and a diamine component, in which the ≥60 mol% diamine component is a 6-12C aliphatic alkylenediamine, is used.
